Should Greece skip EU presidency?

From January 1th 2014, next six-month presidency of the European Union should be in the hands of Greece. Those who don´t agree with that decision are two German MPs who said to the Bild that they believe that Greece should skip the EU presidency, which cost 100 million euros.

Christian-Democrat Klaus-Peter Willsch believes that Greece would need a further loan to cover those costs because the country is in a serious condition. According to EUobserver, the Liberal Frank Schaeffler thinks that Greece should  give up the presidency voluntarily.
